DUNAY was never a name created for a brand.
It was the name given to founder Clare by her parents during childhood — a name without written characters, carried only through its sound and meaning. To her family, DUNAY represented something deeply loved and treasured: a beloved treasure.
Clare grew up surrounded by mountains, streams and abundant plant life. This close connection with nature shaped an early sensitivity to botanicals, aromas and the subtle sensory qualities of the natural world.
Years later, through extensive experience in the professional beauty industry, this instinctive connection with nature evolved alongside a deeper understanding of skin science, formulation and professional care.
She returned to the name that had never been written — DUNAY.
A name born from her parents’ love became a brand devoted to the philosophy of treasuring and caring.
